Perhaps they were unable to use the name "Velveeta."

I disagree vehemently with the authors at this site denigrating the 'red orange' Crayon. Why can't it be both? A color found between the colors, like the shifting hue of a delicate unfurled petal. Isn't every color we see just one shade transitioning to another, anyway? The same ocean can be blue AND green...

(Regarding the Crayons: now the 'Macaroni and Cheese' Crayon doesn't seem to be anywhere 'between' Mac and Cheese: it looks solidly on the Cheese side of the plate. Perhaps they were unable to use the name "Velveeta.")

And if all this talk of color and flowers overwhelms you, you can always look at the simple hues of plain old flour.
